Yesterday I uploaded the photographs from the 4th day of my SouthWest desert trip. We spend a significant amount of time in the Lower and Upper Antelope Canyon.

Both these are slot canyons, formed by sand and water erosion. You can read more about them here.

About 4-5 miles from the Antelope Canyon, is an overlook on the Colorado river, known as the HorseShoe Bend. Here the river makes a 270 degree turn. The view from above is breathtaking. Here’s a panoramic shot I took in the afternoon.
