Last I slept on a roof was way back in 1999 on the roof top at my friend’s place in Sarojini Nagar Delhi. I always enjoyed doing so. Nothing fancy; a rug below, a bed sheet (chaddar) to cover and the gentle breeze to caress. The city twinkles below and the stars above. The distant city sounds (dogs, honks and blaring TV) combine to form a perfectly harmonious lullaby nudging me to sleep.

Today I am doing it again. Transforming the night back to those days in Delhi. The night is colder and the stars faint. The local hindi FM is playing some nice songs.

This one is for those days in Sarojini Nagar Delhi.
